MINDFUL PAUSE — RETREAT DAY

A Day of Guided Silence

When we are constantly running on autopilot, we lose the ability to see our own patterns clearly. This 5.5-hour retreat is a dedicated space to stop the noise and reconnect with a steady, internal center. It is not an escape from your daily life, but a recalibration of how you move through it.

THE PRACTICE OF STILLNESS

Throughout the day, you will be guided through a series of foundational practices designed to settle the nervous system and anchor your awareness. This retreat is fully accessible to all—from those completely new to mindfulness to experienced practitioners seeking a day of shared silence.

Our shared explorations include:

  • Mindful Body Scan & Gentle Movement: Reconnecting with physical sensations to release accumulated tension.

  • Guided Sitting Meditation: Practices to anchor the mind and observe the nature of mental chatter.

  • Noble Silence: The majority of our time is held in silence, providing the space for a deeper internal journey.

  • Group Reflection: An optional space at the conclusion of the day to share insights in a safe, held environment.

All practices are trauma-informed, ensuring a safe and grounded environment for every participant.

NURTURING THE BODY

Presence is supported by a body that feels cared for and sustained.

The centerpiece of our mid-day break is a home-cooked, vegetarian Indian meal, prepared specifically for this retreat. This is not a standard catered lunch, but a nourishing extension of our practice. We share this meal in Noble Silence, allowing you to fully experience the flavors and aromas as a form of "Mindful Eating" in action.

  • Warmth & Hydration: A selection of hot teas and filtered water is available throughout the day.

  • Light Nourishment: Healthy snacks are provided to sustain your energy between practices.
